Children injured in jumping castle accident

Published on

Four children have been hurt after falling out of a jumping castle that was blown into the air by wild weather in Sydney's south-west.

The children were playing on a bouncing castle in Elderslie this afternoon, when strong winds lifted the castle off the ground with the children still on board.

Police say they would have fallen about 8 metres when they hit the ground.

An eight year old girl was treated for minor injuries by paramedics, but the younger children, aged three, five and six have been taken to Westmead hospital.

Their injuries aren't life threatening. The bouncing castle was deflated at the scene.
