Police dismantle Sydney drug syndicate

Published on

Two men, aged 60 and 28 were arrested in Sydney's North West yesterday, and have been charged for allegedly running a drug postal service.

Police believe the operation is entirely based in Australia, but they used a website that appears to be in Iceland.

Superintendent Matt Craft says the business made a large profit by trading with bitcoin.

The 60 year old man was caught at a post box in Bella Vista, while the 28 year old was arrested in North Rocks.

Police say they mainly sold and posted steroids. It's believed their customers extend beyond New South Wales and into other states.
